Mark your calendars for Event No. 2 - "For the Entertainers" on March 16 from 3-6 PM at the Deep Ellum Community Center!
Come hungry because at 3:30 PM, we’ll be serving up Chef Geoff Lloyd’s famous shepherd’s pie, hosted by the Deep Ellum Community Association as part of Sunday Supper on DECC. Bring a side dish to share, then stick around for the main event! Starting at 4 PM, enjoy an amazing variety show starring Deep Ellum’s own legendary magician, Confetti Eddie. Watch as he makes Narcan vending machines magically "disappear" into locations where they’re needed most!
This impactful 2nd event is part of the "Art of the Machine" series, blending art, community, and harm-reduction efforts to tackle the opioid crisis. You’ll get to see 20 incredible artist-designed Narcan vending machines, participate in free Narcan training, and hear compelling discussions about how we can fight back against fentanyl, the #1 killer of adults aged 18–45.
Curated by the talented Breonny Lee and Jennifer Sturges, this event is powered by the passionate efforts of LIVEGY, Unity Recovery, and Conscience Conduit. Admission is free, so RSVP now and join us in taking action to save lives!
