On Safari at the Museum of Nature and Science in Fair Park

From time to time I'll slip in some photos from my job at the Museum of Nature and Science.
I'm there mon-fri 9am-5pm. we have been installing a DNA exhibit. I took a few photos of the turtles at the lagoon and some specimens from collections. Thanks Karen!(Collections Manager DMNS)

EEEeee, he, he, he! Hey, what’s up with the turtle in Dallas? I noticed it like a symbol around the city. I’m a turtle… well, the animal is significant in my maternal ancestry. Maybe that’s just why I noticed it in a few places ; P

there's a bunch of them in the park , they are cool! the mamas lay eggs around the park, when they hatch you see the little ones migrating across the land looking for the lagoon. it's neat!
